That's devotion to the cause. I tried to watch it at work, but not only couldn't I get through, something made my computer go funny. Have to catch the archive later.

I was home sick yesterday (with cats nearby and coffee in hand) but ready for an interesting webcast. I saw Janet Swan Hill for a few moments and then gave up trying to connect. Someone from LC reported on AUTOCAT this morning that the webcast "generated the greatest demand for any LC Webcast" and that "the system was overwhelmed." I assumed that the webcast, which could take the alternative title "The future of your career," would draw just about everybody who subscribes to AUTOCAT (about 5000 people according to the list owners) and more. I am surprised that LC did not anticipate the demand.

Seems like everyone who saw anything saw about the same 10 minutes of Janet Swan Hill's talk!
I also, a good deal later, heard Brian Schottlaender's voice for about 10 seconds.
