I agree with you fully about the lack of "unpacking." I'm "lucky" enough to have spent some time with most of these topics, but many, if not most, catalogers and students have not.

I found it very interesting the various references to FRBR and FRAD during the meeting. Some people felt the need to spell out what the letters stood for and perhaps add a description, while at one point the moderator (I believe it was) made a comment about FRBR being "old news."

Well, it may be nearing 10 years old, but as far as most catalogers understanding it it may as well be 10 days old. And FRAD is still a draft, albeit a 2nd draft.

Keep up the nice work here; I'm enjoying it. :)
