I agree, but as an industry that has more introverts than most cataloguing has an even higher proportion.

Thanks for the comment. Sorry for this late reply. I had to take a break from blogging because of my very sick cat. She's bouncing back now though.

Yes, among librarians catalogers are the most introverted. That's been my experience. So, we just have to force ourselves out of our shells and do some self-advocacy. Ultimately the library patrons are the ones who benefit if we do.
